This course is designed to assist first-year students in preparing for the Leadership and Life Skills (LLS) Certificate Program. It provides an opportunity for students to interact with their classmates and engage in meaningful conversations that will help them navigate the year ahead and adapt to college life. Through this course, students will also learn to introspect, reflect on their goals, and begin planning for their future. This is specifically designed to help students understand the structure and purpose of the LLS program.



Principles of Management refer to the fundamental guidelines or truths that form the basis for effective management practices. These principles are used by managers to plan, organise, lead, and control an organisation’s resources efficiently and effectively to achieve organisational goals. They serve as a foundation for managerial decision-making and behaviour in a business setting.

This course provides an exposure to the students pertaining to the nature and scope of marketing, which they are expected to possess when entering the industry as practitioners. it covers all basic concepts in marketing management.

Microeconomics – Course Summary

This course introduces students to the fundamentals of individual and firm-level economic decision-making. It covers concepts such as demand and supply, elasticity, market structures, and consumer behavior. Students learn how prices are determined and how resources are allocated efficiently. Real-world applications are used to understand the impact of micro-level economic forces.

Macroeconomics – Course Summary

This course explores the economy as a whole, focusing on national income, inflation, unemployment, and economic growth. It examines fiscal and monetary policies, international trade, and the role of central banks. Students gain insight into how government and global forces influence economic stability. The course emphasizes analysis of current macroeconomic trends and policy decisions.


This bridge course is designed to prepare first-year students with essential skills in English language and Communication, crucial for both academic and professional growth. Offered at the start of the academic year, the course is structured to assess and strengthen the students’ core abilities.
