1.      COURSE SUMMARY

 

The Business Law course provides a comprehensive understanding of the legal framework governing business operations in India. It covers the foundational principles of the Law of Contracts, Special Contracts, the Companies Act, Consumer Protection Law, and Pollution Control legislation. The course also emphasizes ethical and value-based decision-making in business, exploring the importance of corporate responsibility, integrity, fair business practices, and the Indian value system in modern management.

Through case studies, discussions, and practical applications, students gain the ability to interpret legal provisions, apply them to real-life business scenarios, and make ethically sound managerial decisions. Financial Management

This course introduces the fundamental concepts and principles of financial management, focusing on financial decision-making in business organizations. It covers the objectives and functions of financial management, time value of money, capital budgeting techniques, sources of long-term finance, capital structure, cost of capital, dividend decisions, working capital management, cash budgeting, and the management of receivables and inventory. FUNDAMENTALS OF HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

Human Resource Management is a process that brings people and organizations together so that organizational and individual goals can be achieved. Human resource management can be defined as the art of procuring, developing, and maintaining a competent workforce to achieve the goal of an organization effectively and efficiently. In the present business environment, no business can exist without appropriate human resources. So, human resources management has become the main focus of every organization.
