Course Summary

The General English course English Express caters to the needs of students who embark on a new journey after their undergraduate studies. During the course of the previous semesters, the students got exposure to experiential learning, especially with live projects and campus interviews, and the English course facilitates learning in these contexts. All the texts in the coursework are carefully picked to enable them to gain pragmatic experiences of life apart from exposing them to the apparent reflections of varied human societies and cultures. The texts also enable them to think critically and comprehend the implicit values they convey.



Course Summary

 The main objective of this course is that students will understand the scientific process, in the context of learning the fundamental biological and chemical facts of molecular biology.

It also describes the molecular and cellular basis of the development and function of the immune system in states of health and disease. The course will provide the required framework for more advanced courses in Immunology


This course explores medicinal chemistry, covering drug classification, synthesis, and therapeutic applications. It introduces diseases, drug terminology, and the ADMET framework, emphasizing drug absorption, metabolism, and toxicity. Key topics include enzyme and receptor mechanisms, structure-activity relationships, and the synthesis of essential drugs like chemotherapeutics and anesthetics.

Environmental Biotechnology deals with the basics about the environment and different kinds of pollutions and pollutants affecting the environment. The remedy for pollution is being addressed using the implication of biotechnology tools, which would help the environment from these pollutants. It explains the bioenergy—renewable and non-renewable sources of energy that act as the alternative source of energy with their further classification as biofuels and their availability. With increasing pollutants in the environment, the concept of bioremediation using microbiology and restoration of environment using plant and microbial sources are increasing with the usage of biotechnology tools
