COURSE DESCRIPTION :
Business Law deals with the body of rules including law relating to Indian Contract act, Sale of Goods act and Consumer Protection act. It focuses on significance of Intellectual Property Rights in safeguarding from infringement trademarks, patent rights and copyrights. This provides knowledge about corporate governance practices to be followed by the entities and insolvency bankruptcy code 2016.

The course addresses the English language needs of the students at the undergraduate level. The focus will be upon five categories: Prose, Poetry, Vocabulary, Soft Skills and Grammar. In addition to these, the last two units focus on developing the speaking skills of students. Overall the course will focus upon the critical thinking faculties of the students concerning academic, linguistic, political, literary and ethical concepts.
The syllabus has been designed to develop the linguistic and communicative competence of undergraduate students. The teachers also ask comprehension questions to stimulate discussion and based on the discussions the students are made to write short paragraphs /essays and participate in group discussions.

FA-II deals with maintenance of accounts by other forms of business entities involving in consignment business, joint venture business and Non-profit organizations. A special emphasise is made on understanding difference between single entry and double entry system of accounting and conversion of single entry system into double entry system and ascertainment of profit or loss of an entity. This discusses the significance of bills of exchange in accounting business practices.

- Environmental science is an interdisciplinary academic field that integrates physics, biology and geography (including ecology, chemistry, zoology, mineralogy, oceanography, limnology, soil science, geology and physical geography, and atmospheric science) to the study of the environment, and the solution of environmental problems. Environmental science emerged from the fields of natural history and medicine during the Enlightenment. Today it provides an integrated, quantitative, and interdisciplinary approach to the study of environmental systems.
