ORGANISATIONAL BEHAVIOUR


COURSE OBJECTIVES:

1. To gain an understanding of the concept of Organizational Behavior.

2. To Understand the theories of Motivation, Group processes and Group dynamism

3. To understand the concept of change in organization.

4. To gain insights on factors influencing Organizational Culture.

COURSE OUTCOMES:

1. Upon the Completion of the course, students will be able to demonstrate the applicability of the concept of organizational behavior to understand the behavior of people in the organization.

2. Demonstrate the applicability of analyzing the complexities associated with management of individual behavior in the organization.

3. Analyze the complexities associated with management of the group behavior in the organization.

4. Demonstrate how the organizational behavior can integrate in understanding the motivation (why) behind behavior of people in the organization.


LEARNING OUTCOMES:

CO 1. The students will be able describe the usage of computers and why computers are essential components in business and society.

CO 2. The students will be able to learn about various input and output devices, and functioning of operating systems.

CO 3. The students will be able to identify categories of programs, system software and applications. Organize and work with files and folders.

CO 4. Students will learn basic word processing skills with Microsoft Word, such as text input and formatting, editing, cut, copy and paste, spell check, margin and tab controls, keyboard shortcuts, printing, as well as how to include some graphics such as pictures and charts.



FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING is a 5 credit course for SEM II .
