CO1: To get a conceptual understanding of Leader and distinguish between leaders and managers. CO2: Describe the various theories and compare the different styles of leadership. CO 3: Analyse the need for organizations to imbibe Change Management. CO4: Sketch out the factors that influence change and deduce solutions to overcome the resistance to change. CO5: Outline the concept of organizational culture and establish its significance to Change Management. |

COURSE OUTCOMES:
To understand the concept of Industrial Relations and its importance.
To study the various causes of Industrial Disputes.
To understand and discuss the various issues in relation to grievance procedures.
To study the changing concept of management and labor relations.
To understand the increasing labor responsibility in productivity.
To Discuss the trade union movement and its functions and problems.
To understand and know about the International Labour Organisation.
To demonstrate the concept of wage and salary administration.
3.ASSIGNMENTS
1. The students will be asked to write a complete answer for two questions in each unit in A4 size papers.
2. The students will be asked to solve the case study in either softcopy or in A4 size paper.
4.GUIDELINES ON CLASS PARTICIPATION:
1. Students are requested to be in class before the Lecturer comes into the classroom.
2. Late entries (After 5 Minutes) into the class are strictly prohibited.
5.ASSESSMENT SCHEDULE:
1. There will be 2 internal exams of 15 marks each and one Assignment of 5 marks.
2. Internal Exam Pattern: 10 MCQ type questions, 10 Fill in the blanks and 5 short answer types.
