BSc Value Added Courses for AY2021-22

Course Objectives:

To analyze the behavior of semiconductor diodes in Forward and Reverse bias.

To design  Half wave and Full wave rectifiers.

To explore V-I characteristics of Bipolar Junction Transistor in CB, CE & CC configurations.

Course Outcomes:

CO1:Students will be able to learn about forward biased and reversed biased circuits.

CO2: Students will be able to plot the V-I Characteristics of diode and transmission.

CO3: Students will be able to design combinational logic circuits and PLDs.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

 1. This course is designed to bridge the gap between subjects studied at pre-graduation level and subjects which are going to be studied at graduation level.

2. To build confidence among students to have smooth transition in taking up courses at the graduation level

 COURSE OUTCOMES:

Students will be able to

CO1: Build a foundation for the rationalisation of physical and chemical behaviour of different metals, non-metals, compounds etc

CO2: Understand the theory behind practical application

Objective of Course:

 1. To bridge the gap between subjects studied at Pre- graduation level and subjects they would be studying at graduation level.

2. To have smooth transition in taking up advanced courses at graduation level by building the confidence.

Course Outcomes: On completion of the course the student will be able

 1. To acquire the basic knowledge in various areas of biotechnology.

 2. To gain the confidence in the concerned topics of the subject.

Objectives:

1. To bridge gap between subjects studied at pre-graduation level and subjects going to be studies at graduation level.

2.  To have a smooth transition in taking up advanced courses at graduation level by building confidence.

Outcomes:

1. On completion of course, student will have a basic understanding of course that they are going to take up at graduation level.

2. On Evaluation, student will be confident in taking up the course and could effectively communicate about the subject.

COURSE OBJECTIVE:
Intermingling with a large cross section of students from vastly varying backgrounds and bridge the gap between the subjects students studied and the subjects they would be studying. Give basic knowledge on the subjects the students would be learning.

COURSE OUTCOMES:
CO1- Provide adequate time for the transition to hard core subjects.
CO2- Well prepared before courses for first year commencement.
CO3- The students will be equipped with the knowledge and the
confidence needed to take on bigger challenges.

Course Objective

  1. To understand mathematics as a disciple and not as a subject.
  2. To bridge the school education and undergraduate education

Course Outcome

After completion of the course

CO 1  : A student will realize the importance and applications of differentiation and integration.

CO 2  : To find symmetry, asymptote and nature of different type of curves
