Course Description:
The course addresses the English language needs of the students at the undergraduate level. The focus will be upon four categories: Prose, Poetry, Vocabulary, and Grammar. I Overall the course will focus upon the critical thinking faculties of the students concerning academic, linguistic, political, literary and ethical concepts.
The syllabus has been designed to develop linguistic and communicative competence of undergraduate students. The teachers also ask comprehension questions to stimulate discussions.

Research Methodology is a two credit course which will help the students in preparing their project work. It deals with basic concept of research, research design and research process with emphasis on conceptual understanding of variables, measurement scales, hypothesis, data collection, data analysis using parametric and non-parametric tests and report writing.

CCMA course describes the management accounting concepts and familiarizes the cost control techniques viz., budgetary control, standard costing, variance analysis, marginal costing technique and break even analysis. This imparts comprehensive understanding about the financial statement analysis acquiring knowledge on financial ratios viz. short term solvency, long term solvency, profitability ratios. This provides knowledge on concept of fund, funds flow and cash flow enabling preparation of statement of sources and application of funds and cash flow statements.

Accounting Standards is 5 credit course. Syllabus covers accounting principle, concepts, conventions and Indian Accounting Standards relating to Financial Reporting, disclosures and Guidance on Financial Statement items.

Course Description:
Theory and Practice of GST course gives thorough understanding about concept of indirect tax with special emphasis on GST. This imparts knowledge on types of GST viz., CGST, SGST, IGST, UGST and tax rates applicable to different goods. This provides an understanding about process of obtaining GST license, maintenance of GST records, filing of GST returns and migration to ERP system of maintaining GST records using Tally.
