Course Description:

Foreign Trade is 5 credit course with 65 session for this Semester. Foreign trade covers all the basic concepts in relation to international trade of goods and services, international Organisations, International Agreement and India's Foreign Trade policy.

Course Objective:

To Gain knowledge of India's Foreign trade procedures policies and International Institutions.

Course Outcomes:

CO 1 The student will be acquainted with the knowledge of different documents used in foreign trade their significance and identifying the right documents to be used. Based on import/export

CO 2 Ability to describe and understand the significance of balance of trade and balance of payment there by assess the causes of dis-equilibrium of BOP and suggest remedies

CO 3 Ability to distinguish between current account and capital account and identify the flow of money and goods

CO 4 Comprehend the role of Indian trade policy in international trade, purpose of trade blocks in regional growth and international cooperation

CO 5 Gain global patronage of international economic institutions in stabilising the world economies


Course Description


Financial Accounting-I course is designed to equip students with knowledge of accounting process and preparation of final accounts of sole trading concern. It deals with identification and rectification of errors and ascertainment of difference between cash book and pass book, and reconcile it.
