Each of us creates waves around us in our environment that spread outwards like the ripples generated by dropping a stone in a quiet pond. Every one of us is constantly doing something to our environment and it is frequently a result of an act that we can hardly ever reverse.
Objective:
It is about the way we all should live. It is expected to give you information about the environment that will lead to a concern for your own environment.
When you develop this concern, you will begin to act at your own level to protect the environment we all live in.

Course Description
The course exposes the students to the four genres of literature: prose, poetry, drama and short story. The post textual activities covers a range of language needs of the students with specific inputs on vocabulary, spelling, pronunciation, grammar, punctuation, reading, writing and speaking skills. The text can be used as a pretext to meet a variety of real life communication needs: give and seek information, to express opinions, to engage with practical, emotional, intellectual and creative aspects of language by integrating knowledge and skills. The exercises and the pre reading activities supplement the main texts to draw the students' attention to gain wider insights on the implicit and explicit learning components, besides encouraging them to connect with real life situations. The book emphasizes on use rather than the usage, on how the English language is used rather than how it should be used. This book is one such tool which would help the students in honing English language and comprehension skills that would in turn help the students communicate effectively. Each chapter is organized in such a way that it creates a lot of involvement and encouragement to the learner.
