COURSE OBJECTIVES:
II. Organic Chemistry: The course is designed to provide concepts in organic chemistry which includes synthesis and properties of carboxylic acids, nitro compounds and amines.
III. Physical Chemistry: The course is designed to provide concepts in physical chemistry which includes Enthalpy, Entropy, Free energy Gibb’s function, Joule-Thompson coefficient Adiabatic changes in ideal gas.
IV. General Chemistry:
The course is designed to emphasise The course is designed to provide the basic concepts in physical chemistry which includes phase rule, phase diagrams, which also includes classification of errors in analysis and how to minimise those errors.

CO6: Classify the possible types of errors& analyse the experimental data with different parameters.
CO7: Understand the reactivity of carboxylic acids, nitro compounds and amines.
