To address modern challenges across the chemical, biological and physical sciences it is necessary to isolate and examine chemical species as pure substances. For these reasons this course aims to develop student’s understanding by learning such techniques for isolation, separation and analysis of compounds.

This course provides the key concepts which includes solvent extraction, Paper, Thin layer, Column, Ion exchange, HPLC, Gas chromatography techniques, colorimetry, UV Visible, IR spectroscopy, Electro analytical methods like potentiometry, voltammetry and bulk methods like conductometry.
