It relives the accountants from mundane and time consuming process of manual accounting. | COURSE OUTCOME : This course aims at providing Computerized Accounting skills to the students and make them capable of using accounting software for business communication and accounting purposes. The students will learn the procedure of transition of manual accounting to computerized accounting. The student will gain the competence to perform all basic functions of accounting, store details and manage inventory items. Will be able to ascertain profits and Financial position of the organisation. Will be able to generate reports like Profit and Loss statement, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, Cash-flow report, etc. and facilitate in decision making. | ||||||
| COURSE OUTCOME | CO1) This course aims at providing Computerized
Accounting skills to the students. CO2) The students will learn the procedure
of transition of manual accounting to computerized accounting. CO3) The

capable of using accounting software for business communication and
accounting purposes. CO5) Students will be able to account for purchases and
inventory transactions (creating purchase orders, handling invoices,
maintaining inventory control) using a computerized accounting software
package. CO6) Students will be able to account for customer and sales related
events (maintaining and analyzing customer data, billing, bank deposits and
accounts receivable) using a computerized accounting software package CO7) Will be able to ascertain profits and Financial position of the organization. |

>> Rules & Regulations in Computer Lab
> You must be in lab within five
minutes of its commencement.
> You must set your mobile
phones on complete silent at all times
during lab session. Any buzz or sound from the device will lead to immediate
confiscation.
> You must carry a
pen/pencil and a notebook to lab enabling ease of taking notes or any important discussion.
> The use of mobile phones and any other device is
prohibited inside computer lab, unless exclusively asked to do so by
the course instructor. Not following the here said rule will lead to
confiscation of the device being used.
> You must submit your records well in advance and after due date students will be entertained and will be responsible for their practical examination.
> Any other activity/behavior considered beyond
the ethos of lab class conduct will lead to immediate dismissal from the class.
