The Bridge Course is a foundation programme designed to facilitate a smooth transition for first-year undergraduate students from school education to higher education. It aims to bridge the gap in knowledge, skills, and academic expectations by providing students with the essential concepts and competencies required for their chosen disciplines. The course familiarizes learners with the fundamentals of their subjects, strengthens communication and critical thinking skills, and prepares them for an outcome-based and learner-centric academic environment.
For students of Mass Communication and Journalism, English Literature, and Political Science, the Bridge Course offers an interdisciplinary introduction to communication, language, literature, media, governance, and society. Through interactive lectures, discussions, case studies, group activities, and experiential learning, students develop academic confidence, analytical abilities, and an appreciation of the interconnectedness of these disciplines.
