This course explores core human values—Love, Compassion, Truth, Non-violence, Righteousness, Peace, Service, and Renunciation—through historical examples, narratives, and reflective activities. It helps learners understand these values conceptually and appreciate their relevance in personal, social, and global contexts. Through case studies, simulations, and sharing of experiences, students develop the ability to practice these values in real-life situations. Ultimately, the course aims to nurture ethical thinking, emotional maturity, and responsible citizenship.

This course introduces the core statistical methods used to analyse relationships, and make predictions. Students learn how to measure and interpret correlations between variables, use regression techniques to predict outcomes and evaluate statistical models, and apply basic experimental designs to test hypotheses under controlled conditions. Through these topics, the course builds essential skills for analysing data, designing studies, and drawing accurate scientific conclusions.

This course introduces the core principles and techniques required in the design and implementation of database systems.
This course focuses on database design theory, E-R modeling, data definition and manipulation languages, database security, and administration.
It also covers essential DBMS concepts such as Transaction Processing, Concurrency Control and Recovery, distributed databases, intelligent databases, and the client/server architecture. It gives an introduction to database security and administration.
It also provides students with practical skills in using databases and database management systems in information technology applications.

This abstract algebra course introduces the fundamental structures of Groups and Rings. Students will learn to recognize algebraic structures, prove that subsets are subgroups or ideals, and identify cyclic groups and generators. A core focus is on understanding structure-preserving maps through homomorphisms and isomorphisms in both groups and rings, culminating in the analysis of normal subgroups to construct quotient structures. The course emphasizes developing rigorous proof-writing skills within an algebraic context.
