This course introduces the fundamental concepts, techniques, and applications of Business Analytics for managerial decision-making. It provides students with an understanding of how organizations leverage data to identify business opportunities, solve complex problems, and support strategic decisions. The course covers the three major dimensions of analytics descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics along with practical exposure to analytical tools and technologies. In addition, the course provides hands-on experience with the R programming environment.

The course provides students with an understanding of cost concepts, cost classification, cost accumulation, and cost control techniques used in manufacturing and service organizations. It covers the preparation of cost sheets, material, labour, and overhead accounting, methods of costing, and techniques for cost ascertainment and cost reduction.
