Course Summary

This course is continuous of business statistics- I it will introduce statistics in the workplace. Statistics is how we gather, analyze, and interpret data. You can apply statistics to any number of fields, say Industry or Commerce or Trade or Economics etc., the course will begin with regression, index numbers, time series, probability and distributions.


Income Tax is 5 credit course. The subject deals with the structure of Income Tax Act in India,  basic concepts Income Tax, Provisions relating to computation of total income and tax liability of an individual. Computation of taxable income under 5 heads of income namely Salaries, house property, Business or Profession, Capital gains and Other sources are also covered in the Syllabus.

Course Overview: 

The course gives an insight into the basics of Digital Marketing and Content marketing. This focuses on the topics like Content curation, Video marketing, E-mail Marketing, Content for Blogs, Newsletters etc.


The course addresses the English language needs of the students at the undergraduate level. The focus will be on five categories: Prose, Poetry, Vocabulary, Soft Skills, and Grammar.  In addition to these, the last two units focus on developing the speaking skills of students. Overall, the course will focus on the critical thinking faculties of the students concerning academic, linguistic, political, literary, and ethical concepts.


Corporate accounting emphasizes on AS-14 discussing the accounting treatment to be followed at the time of liquidation of companies, and internal and external reconstruction of companies. This provides an understanding of banking companies act provisions and ascertainment of the financial position of banking companies. This deals with the preparation of final accounts of insurance companies and special emphasis is made on claim settlement in case of fire and marine insurance policies.
