BOM course deals with understanding of Business, Organisation and Management. It gives knowledge about different forms of business organisation, steps in formation of an entity viz., sole trader, partnership, HUF, joint stock company and one-person company. It gives comprehensive insights on functions of management viz., planning organising, authority, coordination and control.

'The English Turf' is a General English course designed for first year students that enables them to acquire good English language skills for success in their professional and personal lives, The course has been designed keeping in view the real life and contextual aspects of language, giving emphasis to acquiring both proficiency and fluency of English language. The texts have been carefully selected keeping in view the literary, language and moral dimensions, for teachers and students to explore all the teaching and learning possibilities. Such an approach would enable students to gain thinking, observatory, and critically analyzing skills, while also connecting the texts with contemporary situations. Components like:

ii. Grammar
iii Speaking Skills
iv. Soft Skills are incorporated in each of the units. The various practice exercises and task-based activities give the students and teachers build an interactive and student-centric teaching and learning atmosphere .

Financial Accounting is a 5 credit course designed to equip students with knowledge of accounting process and the nuances of preparation of Books of Accounts of sole trading concern from Journal to Final Accounts. It deals with identification and rectification of errors and ascertainment of difference between cash book and pass book, and reconcile it.

Basic computer skills include computer concepts and the use of information technology in organizations. It covers the basics of Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office Suite as applied to basic uses of word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software, and file and folder management, introduction to internet, WWW and web browser. It provides opportunities for students to learn emerging technologies and upgrade their technical skills.

Foreign trade course emphasises on significance of Indian EXIM policy establishing relation between BOT and BOP. It helps in understanding about various documents used for foreign trade. It focuses on necessity of trade blocks in bringing mutual cooperation among the member nations. It provides knowledge about international economic institutions and subsidiaries of world bank viz., IMF, NDB, AIIB, TPP, UNCTAD and WTO.
