Environmental Studies is an academic field that explores the interactions between humans and the environment. It encompasses a wide range of topics including ecology, sustainability, pollution, conservation, climate change and environmental policy.

The goal is to understand how human activities impact
natural systems and to develop approaches that promote
environmental health and sustainability.


The General English course addresses the language needs of the students at the undergraduate level. The focus will be on five categories: Poetry, Prose, Pronunciation,  Vocabulary, and Grammar.  In addition to these, the last two segments of each unit are centered on the reading, speaking, and writing skills of the students. Overall the course will focus on skills acquisition with an added emphasis on the critical thinking faculties of the students concerning academic, political, literary, and ethical concepts. The syllabus has been designed to improve the communication skills of undergraduate students as a part of a comprehensive and holistic development that includes ethical, societal, and cultural concerns.

Course Description:

Business Economics is a fundamental course that integrates economic theories with real-world business applications. It provides students with a comprehensive understanding of how economic principles influence decision-making within firms. The course explores key topics such as demand and supply analysis, cost and production theory, market structures, pricing strategies, and the impact of government policies on business operations.

Students will learn to apply economic concepts to analyze business strategies, forecast market trends, and optimize resource allocation. Emphasis is placed on developing critical thinking skills to evaluate business scenarios through an economic lens. Case studies and practical examples from various industries will illustrate the relevance of economic theory in solving business challenges.

By the end of the course, students will be equipped with the knowledge and analytical tools necessary to make informed business decisions in dynamic and competitive environments. They will understand how economic factors shape business strategy and performance, preparing them to contribute effectively to organizational goals and succeed in diverse business roles.
