Course Summary

Compensation Management is a specialized course that focuses on designing, implementing, and evaluating compensation systems that attract, motivate, and retain employees while supporting an organization’s strategic goals. The course covers key concepts such as job evaluation, pay structures, internal and external equity, wage and salary administration, incentives, variable pay, and benefits management. Students learn how compensation decisions are influenced by laws, labor market conditions, organizational policies, and performance management systems. It also introduces analytical tools for compensation benchmarking, pay surveys, and cost–benefit analysis. By the end of the course, learners gain the skills to develop fair, competitive, and strategically aligned compensation plans that enhance employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
