Drug designing helps us to understand the history as well as various processes followed for finding the correct drug target. Identification of a drug target and its validation play a vital role in drug discovery. The use of structural biology and bioinformatics helps us with 3D prediction and modeling, which is helpful during the docking process. Structure-based drug design and ligand-based drug design help us in this process of docking and screening various samples before formulation. The strategies of drug design like lead generation, preparation, identification, and optimization help us in the screening of lead molecules and for pharmacogenomics
