Sem 6 of B.Sc (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science)

The Web Technologies course introduces students to how modern web pages and applications are designed, structured, and made interactive. It covers the fundamentals of XHTML, styling with CSS, layout design, and building responsive interfaces. Students learn to use JavaScript for client-side logic through concepts like decision making, loops, functions, arrays, events, and built-in objects. The course also explores XML for structured data representation, DOM manipulation, and Ajax techniques for creating dynamic, real-time web applications. By understanding these technologies, students gain the skills to design, develop, and manage interactive, user-friendly websites and rich internet applications

This course introduces students to PHP for server-side web development, enabling them to build dynamic and interactive web applications. It covers core PHP concepts, form handling, and browser interaction, followed by Object-Oriented Programming topics such as inheritance, interfaces, and abstract classes. Students also learn secure file handling and MySQL database connectivity to retrieve and manage data effectively. Practical applications like member registration and record viewing strengthen hands-on skills. The course concludes with essential web mechanisms including sessions, cookies, and FTP for managing state and data across applications.

Numerical analysis, area of mathematics and computer science that creates, analyses, and implements algorithms for obtaining numerical solutions to problems involving continuous variables. Such problems arise throughout the natural sciences, social sciences, engineering, medicine, and business.

This paper primarily deals with ANOVA, design of experiments, Vital Statistics, Index numbers. Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) is a statistical formula used to compare variances across the means (or average) of different groups. The vital statistics themselves are a critical national information resource for understanding public health and examining such key indicators Index numbers offer a precise measurement of the quantitative change in the concerned variable over  time.
