Cost accounting is designed to provide knowledge on cost concepts and types of cost and essentials of good cost accounting system. This deals with companies internal reporting relating to maintaining costing records viz. pricing methods and issue of materials to production, determining wages and apportionment and absorption of overheads. This imparts knowledge on preparation of cost sheet, determination of unit cost, job cost and accounting treatment of contract costing and process costing.

This course on Computerized Accounting using Tally ERP 9 provides practical training in recording, storing, and analyzing financial data. It covers managing the Chart of Accounts, including creating and deleting companies, ledgers, and groups. The course also includes inventory management through the creation of stock groups, units, items, and godowns, along with recording stock balances. Students will learn to record business transactions using vouchers like Receipt, Payment, Sales, Purchase, and Journal. Additionally, the course focuses on managing accounts receivable and payable, handling financial year changes, and generating MIS reports for informed decision-making.
